How do I request a tutor?

Requesting a tutor is easy. You can take a few minutes to fill up our Tutor Request form.

What types of tutors are available?

We have many types of tutors to help your child's learning needs. It could be a part-time tutor, full-time tutor, full time tutor/ex school teacher or current school teacher.

How long does it take to receive the list of shortlisted tutors?

We understand that you would like to start the lessons as soon as possible. Upon receiving your request through our Request for Tutor form, we will contact you soon to clarify your requirements and confirm the request. Following that, suitable tutors will be shortlisted and provided to you within two days.

How do Best Potential Tuition Agency verify the tutor’s identity, qualifications or certificates?

Best Potential will verify the tutor’s identity and qualifications or certificates when they register with us.

Is there a trial lesson?

We understand your need to ascertain if the tutor is a good fit for your child or yourself. The first lesson or trial lesson will be a good opportunity to ascertain that and it is payable.

What if the tutor is not suitable for my child?

All our tutors are shortlisted based on their good track record and positive feedback from parents and students. We will seek feedback on the tutor from you after the trial lesson. If you would like to try a different tutor, we will be happy to arrange a replacement for you at no additional cost. The lessons conducted with the previous tutor are still payable.

How do I pay for lesson fees?

The first two lessons are payable to Best Potential Tuition Agency on the day of the second lesson conducted through the following payment method:

  1. PayNow to UEN : 53507952D  (Best Potential Tuition Agency)
  2. Bank Transfer:  UOB 7593005031 ( please whatsapp screenshot of transaction details to agency to confirm payment made).

Subsequent payments from the third lesson onwards will be made directly to the tutor based on an agreed payment schedule and method.

What if I need to reschedule the first lesson?

In case of unforeseen circumstances arising and you need to reschedule the trial lesson, please contact us at least 24 hours before the first lesson so that we can inform the tutor so as not to incur any inconveniences or cost to the tutor.

Can I stop the lesson anytime?

You can discontinue the lesson anytime if you feel that it will not disrupt the learning progression of the student as a change of tutors is often disruptive to the student since they have to adapt to a new tutor. The trial lesson is for the purpose to ascertain if the tutor is a good fit for the student. If the lesson is discontinued due to dissatisfaction, please contact us to share your feedback.
